Instructions
Preparation
In a blender, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream. Next, fold in the beaten egg whites until well combined.
Spoon the mixture into serving dishes or cups. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let it set properly.
Notes
Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberry slices or a dollop of whipped cream. Can also sprinkle mint leaves on top.
