Ingredients

Pasta and Vegetables

  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Steak and Seasoning

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak pieces, season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the broccoli. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  • Add the mushrooms and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables.
  • Add the cooked linguine and toss everything together over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and mix until well combined.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Use a cast-iron skillet for better searing of the steak. Experiment with different vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for variety. Make sure to not overcook the broccoli to retain its crispness.
