  • 1 cup baby carrots fresh
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed fresh
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter can substitute with olive oil for a lighter option
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth ensure gluten-free if necessary

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • Add the baby carrots and green beans around the chicken.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
  • Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes
