  • 0.5 cup butter Cut into pieces for even melt.
  • 1 medium onion, sliced Adjust seasoning with herbs if desired.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the chopped cabbage in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add the sliced onion on top of the cabbage.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place it on top of the onion and cabbage.
  • Cut the butter into pieces and place them on top of the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Serve hot.
