Ingredients

Seafood Mixture

  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined Ensure shrimp is fully cooked if not using pre-cooked.
  • 1 cup crab meat, lump or backfin Can be substituted with more shrimp if desired.

Cheesy Filling

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Biscuit Base

  • 1 batch flaky biscuit dough (store-bought or homemade) Follow package instructions if store-bought.

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit package instructions or to 425°F if making homemade biscuits.
  • In a bowl, mix together the shrimp, crab meat, cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll out the biscuit dough and cut it into desired shapes.

Baking

  • Place the biscuit shapes on a baking sheet and spoon a heaping tablespoon of the shrimp and crab mixture onto each biscuit.
  • Bake according to biscuit package instructions (generally about 12-15 minutes) until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding chopped green onions or diced red peppers to the mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
