Ingredients

For the dip

  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy blending.
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted pistachios, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds Reserve a few for garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • to taste Fresh herbs (such as mint or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, heavy cream, honey, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the whipped feta mixture to a serving bowl.
  • Gently fold in the chopped pistachios and pomegranate seeds, reserving a few for garnish.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, garnish with the reserved pistachios, pomegranate seeds, and fresh herbs. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The dip stays fresh for up to four days, but for best taste and texture, consume within the first two days. Experiment with spices like crushed red pepper or additional herbs for variation.
