  • 1 cup pesto sauce Use fresh or high-quality store-bought.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Adjust based on desired richness.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • for garnish Fresh basil Optional for garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, combine the cooked chicken and pesto sauce. Heat over medium until warm.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined and creamy.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy pesto sauce.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if using.

Notes

Best served hot. Can be paired with a green salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of cream or broth to maintain moisture.
