Peanut Butter Swirl

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional topping

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar, then add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until fully combined.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the brownie layer, then pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
  • Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter into the batter gently.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, if desired.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into squares.

Notes
