Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Peel and slice the carrots into even pieces. Add them to a 9×13 baking dish.

Mixing

  • Melt the 1/3 cup of butter and pour it over the sliced carrots. Toss to combine, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar, parsley, salt, and pepper over the carrots. Mix everything thoroughly.

Baking

  • Bake the carrots for about an hour, stirring halfway through to ensure even roasting.
  • The carrots are done when they are fork-tender and nicely glazed.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to three months. Garnish with additional parsley before serving.
