  • to taste Vegetable sides (Asparagus or bell peppers) Adds texture when roasted alongside
  • to taste Lemon slices or tomatoes Enhance flavor when placed on salmon before baking

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This setting allows the salmon to cook evenly.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill to create the marinade.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading the marinade over the fillets to coat them well.
  • If desired, place lemon slices or tomatoes on top of the salmon for added flavor.
  • Arrange your vegetable sides around the salmon on the same baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat the salmon gently in the oven or on the stovetop. Avoid microwaving to prevent drying out the fish.
