Instructions
Brownie Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth.
Add granulated sugar and stir until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add flour, stirring until just incorporated.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Frosting Preparation
In a medium saucepan, melt ¼ cup of butter over low heat.
Stir in milk and ¼ cup cocoa powder until well blended.
Remove from heat and gradually mix in powdered sugar until smooth.
Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies in the pan.
Allow the frosting to set before cutting the brownies into squares.
