Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild blueberries Use fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger, peeled and grated Grate fresh ginger for better flavor
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • Juice of 1 lemon lemon (optional) Adds extra flavor if desired

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine wild blueberries, grated ginger, honey, and water.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass.
  • If desired, add lemon juice for extra flavor.

Serving

  • Serve immediately as shots, or pour into ice cube trays for later use.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
