Start by peeling and halving the hardboiled eggs. Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a medium-sized bowl.
To the yolks, add mayo, lime juice, salt, avocado, and a drop or two of green food coloring. Mix and mash until you achieve a smooth consistency.
