  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided into two portions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Cooking the Potatoes

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and tender, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Cooking the Steak

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, then add the steak bites. Season with salt and pepper and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Combining Ingredients

  • Return the potatoes to the skillet and toss everything to combine.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat to keep the potatoes crispy. If necessary, drain excess fat from the skillet to enhance the garlic flavor. For a spicy twist, add red pepper flakes when cooking the steak.
