  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Bone-in or boneless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika Add more for extra flavor
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • to taste fresh herbs (optional) Such as parsley or thyme

Instructions

Preparation and Cooking

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or set the instant pot to sauté.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
  • For oven-baked: Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  • For instant pot: Sauté for 3-4 minutes on each side, then seal and cook at high pressure for 10-12 minutes.
  • Let it rest before serving, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For an extra kick, increase the amount of paprika or add a touch of cayenne pepper. Marinating the chicken in the spice mixture for a few hours or overnight enhances the flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
