Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles You can substitute with any pasta.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Divided for cooking and finishing the dish.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 cup chicken broth For a richer flavor, use low-sodium broth.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Make sure to season well.
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Adds freshness to the dish.

Instructions

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.

Cooking the Noodles

  • In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally.
  • Once noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining butter and return the chicken to the pan, slicing it into strips.

Serving

  • Toss to combine, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove, adding chicken broth if noodles seem dry.
