Detox Water

A refreshing drink combining dandelion root tea, cranberry juice, and lemon juice to support weight loss and hydration.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 60 ounces purified water enough to fill a pitcher
  • 1 tbsp 100% cranberry juice not cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice for better flavor
  • 1 tea bag organic dandelion root tea alternatively use peppermint or green tea

Instructions

Preparation

  • Brew the tea bag in about 8 ounces of hot water and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Fill a large pitcher (60 ounce or larger) with the cooled tea, cranberry juice, and lemon juice.
  • Fill the remainder of the pitcher with water and refrigerate.
  • Drink the entire pitcher throughout the day for up to 7 days. Make a fresh pitcher daily.
  • For extra flavor, add fresh cranberries and lemon slices to the pitcher when you prepare it.

Notes

Serve chilled and consider garnishing with slices of lemon or sprigs of mint. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but best consumed fresh. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor and nutrients. Experiment with variations by adding cucumber or mint.
