Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and chicken broth.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the gravy and serve.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Best served over warm rice or fluffy mashed potatoes. You can also add vegetables like carrots, potatoes, or peas to make it a complete meal. For a thicker gravy, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with cold water and stir in during the last hour of cooking.
