  • 1 cup Pickles, sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Shredded or cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Can use panko for extra crunch
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 2 cups Oil for frying Vegetable or canola oil recommended

Instructions

Preparation

  • Slice pickles into rounds.
  • Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each pickle slice in flour, then egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the breaded pickle slices until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce such as ranch dressing, spicy mayo, or BBQ sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated in an oven (avoid microwaving).
