  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 piece juice and zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and add them to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the asparagus and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is tender.
  • Reduce the heat and add heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and coat it in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of cream if needed. For extra flavor, marinate chicken in lemon juice for an hour before cooking.
