Instructions
Preparation and Baking
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining well.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the icing.
Once the bars are cooled, drizzle the icing on top.
Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, in the refrigerator for a week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
