  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or Gruyere) Use high-quality cheese for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional) For a crispy topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer zucchini slices in a greased baking dish, pouring the cream mixture over each layer and sprinkling with cheeses in between.
  • Add breadcrumbs on top if desired.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
