Preparation
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and cook until browned (about 2-3 minutes). Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, and sesame oil.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of water to prevent drying out. For garnish, add sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
